Kindergarten through fifth grade students at Hooper School listened to Dr. Keim (Superintendent), Dr. Scully (Director of Student Services), and Dr. Wight (Assistant Superintendent) read stories today! It was a fantastic day at Hooper! #elevateLV41

Mrs. Gutsmiedl’s 2nd grade class at Hooper learned a new game today to help them with place value. They also did an amazing job synergizing with partners!

Students in Ms. Nash's 2nd grade class at Hooper worked together to explore math tools we will use this year and determine how they will help us in math.

Fun Friday outside.... and some reading time with Mrs. Lawrence's class at Hooper. If kids chose one of the animal books, they could read with a stuffed animal that matched the book they chose. By far that was the favorite choice. They are already asking for more of these animal books I bought.

Mrs. Gutsmiedl’s 2nd grade class at Hooper was getting to know one another this week by walking around and finding classmates that had things in common with them. They did an outstanding job!

Hooper special teachers went over expectations for our recess equipment. Now the students are ready for recess!!!

Good morning,
We wanted to let all 3rd-5th grade parents/guardians know that each classroom now has an industrial strength portable air condition unit. These will stay at Hooper in these rooms until the issue is resolved.
At this time we don't see a need to relocate our students.

What an amazing first day at Hooper!! From high fives from the Lindenhurst Police Department, to an all school assembly, to smiles on everyone's faces. What a wonderful day! #firstdayofschool

As I step out the door and into retirement, I would like to thank the entire Lake Villa 41 staff, students, families, and community for welcoming me and working with me these past nine and a half years. It has truly been an honor and a privilege to serve as your superintendent. Jeep, Harry, and I look forward to visiting and watching all the great things that will happen under Dr. Sandy Keim-Bounds' amazing leadership!

Hooper school wanted to thank Dr. Zimmer for her years of service as the superintendent of Lake Villa District 41. Dr. Zimmer gave us some inspirational quotes and we surprised her by putting them on the library walls.
Thank you, Jeep, and Harry for all of your support as you will be missed.

Kindergarten-2nd graders are now enjoying Hooper's Field Day. Seeing them all laugh and smile makes the year end on a wonderful high note.

3rd-5th grade field day is now complete. What a great morning as all these Hooper students had a great time.
