Some Hooper student's got a surprise visit today from Elvis who is the Kingfish baseball teams mascot. These students participate in a reading contest and now get to go to a baseball game!! One lucky winner even gets to throw out the first pitch at the game.

Representatives from the Astronomical Society came to talk about the moon and the stars, and explored different constellations. The kids also imagined what it would be like if they had their birthday party on the moon.
