Scholastic Bowl is a quiz game that tests players on a wide variety of academic subjects.  There are two teams, a Varsity and a Junior Varsity.

The season runs from mid-January through April. The Scholastic Bowl team meets one to two times per week to begin practices that involve content/knowledge study sessions and mock gameplay to determine the 15 members of the team. Practice ends at 4 pm.  Most meetings generally take place Mondays-Thursdays at 4 pm. IESA Regional, Sectional & State Championships are usually scheduled on a weekend.

It is important for parents/guardians to understand that once a meeting has begun, entrance into the contest area is not allowed until half-time of the match.
