The Lancer Latest: May Edition

 Dear Palombi families!:

As the 2023-24 school year winds down, I wanted to take a moment to say how proud I am of our students for making great strides in achievement and their continued growth as individuals. I have enjoyed my first year as principal and look forward to the years to come.

There are many great activities scheduled for the end of the year, and we hope that your child can maintain their grades, as well as their behavior to be able to attend these culminating events. Please continue to talk to your children about the importance of appropriate language, accepting differences, not utilizing social media for bullying, and keeping their hands to themselves. If we work together in this part, Palombi can flourish as an exceptional school.

MRA Survey

As part of our implementation process and drive for continuous improvement, our school will be conducting surveys to learn more about key areas of strength and areas of needed growth.

If you decide to participate, you will be asked to complete a survey (without sharing your name or other identifying information) that will be available through the web link below. The survey is completely voluntary, but we do hope to get feedback from one member of every household.

The parent/guardian survey takes about 12 minutes to complete and will ask questions about your child and their experience in our school. If you have more than one child attending the school, you will be asked to think about the oldest child's experiences as you answer questions related to their growth. Please click here to take the survey.

In Partnership,

Mrs. Angela Sisi

Principal

May Habit of the Month

Students are currently discussing Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw for their Friday Focus. This is the habit of daily self-renewal and it highlights the importance of balance.

You can discuss this habit with your student(s) by having conversations around the following bullet points:

  • What do you do to keep your mind sharp?

  • How do you build relationships with others?

  • What is an act of kindness you could do for someone else?

Notes from the Office
