Today, one of our former Hooper students, Gabriel, who now attends Lakes High School, came back to visit Mrs. Greig's, Ms. Staver's and Ms. Bertram's class to give a presentation about saving the environment. He did an amazing job, and we were SO proud to see how much he has accomplished and what a successful and driven young man he has become, demonstrating true Leader in Me potential!

Our 5th graders were hard at work in the library today, teaming up to review their WIG (Wildly Important Goals) binders. We loved seeing students support one another, track their progress, and stay focused on the goals they’re excited to achieve. Proud of their leadership and teamwork! 💙📚💡#leaderinme #mustangsmakeithappen

Thanks to Lake Villa’s National Night Out, one of our Martin students received a special surprise—a police escort ride to school! We’re grateful for our partnership with the Lake Villa Police Department and the positive experiences they create for our kids. 🐴✨

Big cheers to our Principal Pride winners who went above and beyond this week. Keep shining, Mustangs! #mustangsmakeithappen

Snapshots from Friday's pre–Leader in Me Action Team meeting! Staff wore paper plates on their backs and collected anonymous compliments from colleagues—such a fun way to spread positivity and celebrate each other! 💛🙌

Students dove into Wilfred Gordon McDonald Partridge, talked about the importance of memories, and created beautiful crafts for the residents at Victory Lakes Memory Care Center.
Next up: our Student Lighthouse Team and OCM Choir will visit the center to deliver the crafts and spread a little music and joy! 🎶💙 2/2

LEAD: Another motivating Leaders Who Brunch is in the books! Our Palombi students had the opportunity to meet with a music store owner, civil engineer, Multilingual Coordinator, and Coordinator of Student Services. Thank you to our guests for empowering students to dream big about their futures! #elevateLV41 #inspiration
