LEARN: Ms. Kaplan’s 8th graders “invested” in the stock market this week as a part of a simulation to understand why it crashed in 1929! Students had to figure out when it would be best to buy or sell their stocks. This simulation is a great way to transition from learning about the Roaring 20s to the Great Depression!

In the coming weeks, District #41 will be conducting vision screenings for students in particular grades based on Illinois School Code. Vision screening is not a substitute for a complete eye and vision examination by an eye doctor. Your child is not required to undergo the vision screening if an optometrist or ophthalmologist has completed and signed a report indicating that an eye examination has been administered within the previous 12 months
